Tech Mahindra Aftermarket Suite Combines Telematics and Sensor-Based Predictive Maintenance

The firm described the solution as a dedicated portal for use by dealers that includes all vehicle activities, warnings, faults, and service history. It gives owners real-time information on the health of their vehicle and provides for predictive maintenance and proactive service appointments.

A Forrester Research analyst commented on the Tech Mahindra’s aftermarket Solution in the October 2014 report entitled “Brief: Embedded Systems Close The Experience Gap In Connected Cars”: “CIO’s need to extend their focus to Aftermarket Business … CIO’s now have the opportunity to help their businesses close the engagement gap by adopting solutions such as Tech Mahindra’s.“

Tech Mahindra plans to launch this Platform solution in Europe and US Markets initially and would gradually expand to other geographies. Automotive Suite solution was also showcased at Automechanika, Frankfurt earlier in the year.
