TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. has developed a new active seat belt technology that helps the driver grasp the belt during the buckling up process. The system, known as TRW’s active seat belt presenter, can help to support elderly or less mobile passengers, as well as act as a reminder to fasten the seat belt upon entering the vehicle.

TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. has established a Driver Assist Systems (DAS) Engineering Center at its Livonia, Michigan headquarters. The engineering center will focus on the development and testing of advanced radar applications to support TRW’s North American customers, and will work closely with the Camera Development Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
