International Rectifier (IR®) introduced a family of automotive-qualified power MOSFETs housed in a rugged TO-220 fullpak package for automotive applications including BLDC motors, pumps and cooling systems. The TO-220 fullpak package eliminates the need for additional insulating hardware to simplify design and improve overall system reliability. The new devices are qualified according to AEC-Q101 standards, feature an environmentally friendly, lead-free and RoHS compliant bill of materials.
Renesas Electronics Corporation announced 14 new intelligent power devices (IPDs) including the μPD166023, designed for automotive applications driving exterior lamps such as headlamps and fog lamps as well as seat heaters and motors.
Infineon Technologies AG introduced automotive-qualified 100 percent lead-free power MOSFETs for TO package types. Based on the combination of innovative packaging technology and Infineon’s thin wafer process technology, the new 40V OptiMOS™ T2 power MOSFETs offer best-in-class specifications.
The number of vehicle electronic control units increases each year, creating a need to minimize module size and weight while maximizing functionality. To those ends, Renesas Electronics Corporation has introduced seven new power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect-transistor (MOSFET) products in 8-pin HSON (heat sink small outline non-leaded) packages that occupy just 48 percent of the surface area of the previous TO-252 package.
International Rectifier (IR®) has introduced the AUIRF7739L2 and AUIRF7665S2 automotive DirectFET®2 power MOSFETs, promising exceptional power density, dual-sided cooling, and low parasitic inductance and resistance in an AEC-Q101 qualified package for automotive applications.
