Nuance Communications Inc. said its Dragon Drive automotive-grade voice platform for the connected car is part of Chrysler Group’s Uconnect Access services. Uconnect Access provides 2013 Ram 1500 and SRT Viper owners a range of services including voice texting, and live and local connected search capabilities.

HARMAN said its Automotive Division has developed technologies that can beam information such as emails and contacts from handsets and smart phones to HARMAN in-dash head units. Messages are then displayed on the infotainment system screen or read back aloud using a text-to-speech option, so drivers and passengers can stay connected with their digital lifestyle.
