Renesas, NEC adopt Cadence technology for chip designs

Cadence Design Systems said Renesas Technology Corp. and NEC Electronics are both using Cadence technology.

Renesas has upgraded to the latest version of Cadence® Virtuoso® technology at its global design centers and NEC Electronics has adopted Cadence® Encounter® Digital Implementation (EDI) System. Renesas and NEC are merging in April.  Read more...
