August 6, 2009 – SMSC has introduced the MPM85000, a single-chip solution for power management of Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST^®) devices. The firm said the chip combines all necessary peripheral functions to implement a MOST network interface, including diagnostics, status monitoring, and power supply.
