ETAS partners with Opal-RT to enhance LABCAR Hardware-in-the-Loop system

ETAS, a manufacturer of tools for development, test, and calibration of embedded software in automotive control systems, has signed a partnership agreement with Opal-RT, a maker of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators. Their objective is to expand the applicability of ETAS’ LABCAR HIL test system to electric drive applications, such as those found in hybrid-electric powertrains, electric vehicles, and electric power steering systems.

dSPACE launches off-the-shelf EcoLine HIL simulators

dSPACE has launched a Simulator EcoLine product suite that includes five preconfigured hardware-in-the-loop systems.

Five HIL system versions are available, each of them tailor-made for a specific application. The versions include Engine Piezo, Engine Solenoid, Transmission, Vehicle Dynamics, and Body Electronics.
